Walter Richardson age 69, passed away on March 5, 2018 in Piapot, Saskatchewan. He was born in Eastend, Saskatchewan on October 16, 1948 to John and Nancy Richardson. He attended Dunkeeley school south of Eastend. Following school he went to work for various neighbors and then an earthmoving company. In 1973 Walter started his own earth moving business. He married Heather Scott on July 25, 1970 in Swift Current. Tammy was born in 1973 and Melodie in 1976. Tammy married Reál Comeau in 1998 and they reside in Edmonton. She is a special needs educational assistant, and they have 2 children Aidan (18) and Madeline (15). Melodie lives in Winnipeg and works as a fl eet/dispatch manager for CAA Manitoba. She has two children Janae (14) and Owen (11). Walter and Heather lived in Eastend until 1994 they then moved to Medicine Hat. In 1998 they moved to Maple Creek and then to Piapot in 2004. Walter continued working until 2016 when his health was failing. Walter is predeceased by his parents John and Nancy, his brother Fred, nephew Jason Gilbert and brothers in law Ken Kazakoff and Don Mohagen. He is survived by his wife Heather, daughter Tammy Comeau (Reál) Aidan and Madeline, daughter Melodie Cole, Janae and Owen. He is also survived by two brothers (Edward and Charles) and four sisters (Grace, Joyce, Irene, and Beverley) and numerous nieces and nephews.
