Jay Sellars

With tearful eyes and broken hearts, we share the shocking news that a motor vehicle accident near Leader claimed Jay’s life on the evening of Thursday, November 28th, 2019. 

Jay was a selfless, genuine guy who deeply cared about all the people in his life and would do anything for them.  These qualities paired with his fun-loving nature are what made Jay such a special person and friend to so many.  All who truly knew him have their own “Jay story” they will treasure.

Jay was a husband to Jackie, father to Nichole and Parker, son to George, and brother to Jared.  He was also a nephew, cousin, co-worker, friend and a cherished member of the Hanlon family.  He was predeceased by his mother, Sandra and most recently his Grandma Sellars.

The family extends a special thanks to all the first responders from Leader and Eatonia, the medical personnel at the Leader Hospital, and the Leader RCM Police.

Arrangements for a Celebration of Jay’s Life will be announced at a future date.
