John Lindstrom

John Lars Lindstrom was born November 19, 1934 in Frontier, SK and passed away September 23, 2018 at the Maple Creek Hospital. He grew up on a mixed farm near Divide, SK and began working at the Claydon Grazing Coop in 1957. He married Lorraine Daffe in 1961 and worked for family members until moving to the Daffe homestead where they farmed and ranched together from 1967 to 1997. They decided to semi retire to an acreage near Maple Creek where he continued haying on a much smaller scale and developed a unique artistic interest in creating yard art using metal and wire.

Due to deteriorating health John and Lorraine decided to move into Maple Creek to a condo where he was able to reside until a week before his passing.

John is survived by his wife Lorraine, daughter Susan and her husband Calvin Siegle, one brother Erling and sisters Joan and Lou plus numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Lars and Caroline (Carrie), sisters Ann and Inez.
