Bev was born in Frontier to Joe and Marion Fryer. He grew up in the Claydon area. There he raised and broke horses when he was young. He then started working for the railroad. In 1960 he married the love of his life, Colleen Briggs. In 1962 they moved to Bracken while Bev worked for local farmer. They then purchased a farm near Frontier in 1974 where they raised their two daughters Glenda and Janice. While there he farmed, raised horses, sheep, and worked as a foreman at Friggstad. In 1994 Bev semi-retired and he and Collen moved to Maple Creek to raise their grandson, Ryan. Bev would never turn down helping anyone out that needed a farm hand or someone to help go round up cattle. Bev enjoyed dancing, going to rodeos and never missing a horse sale. He would also never turn down a game of crib.
Bev was predeceased by his wife Colleen. He is survived by his daughters Glenda (Dale) and Janice (Shane), his grandson Ryan (Lacey). He also leaves behind his granddaughters, Tiffany (Terence), Brittany (Donny), Alissa (Kody) and Bailey (Brad). The great grandchildren Spencer, Erik, Karissa, Hadlee, Kaidence, Kaci, Addison, Haiden, Lexi, Ivy, Miles, Avery and Olivia.
