David Edward Gardippie

GARDIPPIE- David Edward Gardippie was born on November 9, 1932 in Piapot, Sask. and passed away on May 4, 2021 at the age of 88.

Dave was predeceased by his partner Laura McKenzie and eldest daughter Gorgena Goldie.

Dave is survived by his children Loretta (George), Jerry (Michelle), and Debby (Aaron); as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dave was a good father and grandpa, great grandfather papa; too many children to name.

Dave worked many jobs in his younger years. From ranch hand for the Bowie family, to saw mills in British Columbia and Saskatchewan, to grader for the RM of Bigstick.

Dave loved to fish and would have stayed on the water forever. He loved to drive his motor boat and see how fast he could go.

Dave loved to hunt and was able to do so up until the age of 85 with help from his grandsons David and Chuck.

Dave had two dear friends still here in Maple Creek, Harry Forbes and Wayne Wilde, though he will be missed by all.

Due to COVID-19, a private family service will be held.
