Dion was born in Maple Creek, SK on August 2, 1972 and passed suddenly at Regina General Hospital on September 16, 2021.
Dion was raised by his adopted mom Margaret Oakes and biological mother Maryanne St.Dennis. He is lovingly remembered by his Aunty Jean Jerome (Lawrence), his common-law Norrieanne Stanley, his children Chelsea, Chasity (Brady), Tatroy (Shara), Katelin, and Keyera; his siblings Corrine (Daryl), Marvin, Connie, Steve, Justin, Randy (Lindsey) and Troy; his grandkids Keshay, Karissa, Paris, Kayson, Jasmine, Zailey, Princeton, Nova, Layton, Lyric, King, JJ, and Halsey. He is predeceased by his dad Johnny Oakes, biological father Gordon Francis, brother Bobbi, his son Delroy, nephews JJ, Joe and Shawn. He will be missed by all who knew him.
