Dodie Greenwald died unexpectedly at the age of 53, on Friday, April 17, 2020, beloved wife of Collin Greenwald. She was born on May 30, 1966 at Leader, Saskatchewan.
She leaves behind her precious daughters, Jade (Austin Sehn) and Emma; her parents, Cliff and Gail Fyke; her mother-in-law Shirley Greenwald; her brothers, Dusty (Cori) Fyke and Carey (Deanna) Fyke; her sister, Dixie (Darryl) Lorentz; her brother-in-law Gavin (Lorrie) Greenwald; her sisters-in-law Gwen (Allen) Herman and Carina (Randy) Weiss; and numerous nephews and nieces. Dodie leaves a legacy of caring, strength, grace and music. Her story with Collin is one of true love. She had an unwavering dedication to her family, to her community, to ranching and to her faith. She never said “no”, helping anyone who asked, she granted them, the gift of her time. Her unlimited talents built a legacy of music and décor at home, in the church, for friends, and for many celebrations.
A private family funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, April 24, 2020 in SACRED HEART PARISH (Liebenthal, Saskatchewan) with Father Joseph Thazhathemuriyil, Celebrant and interment will follow in the Liebenthal Cemetery.
