Gladys Oretta (Drader) Ritco

Gladys was born in Estevan on November 13, 1934 to Harold & Elizabeth Drader. Her mother passed away and her father remarried Mary Pelltier who raised her most of growing up years.

She moved to Regina after finishing high school to work at SaskTel as a switch board operator and met a young Willie Ritco. They were married shortly after and started raising their family that consisted of Barry, Brenda, Brian and Bobby.

They lived in Regina until their health dictated that nursing care was necessary and they were first placed in Imperial Saskatchewan. The family applied to transfer them to Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. That would mean they would be so much closer to Medicine Hat, Alberta where the majority of their children now live.

Willie passed away first on July 17,2019 leaving Gladys by herself in Maple Creek until her passing on November 11, 2023 just 2 days before her 89th birthday.

She leaves behind to mourn her passing her son Barry and his wife Pauline, Brenda and recently deceased husband York, Brian and his wife Donna, and son Bob, as well as many grandchildren and step-grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother & sister in law Floyd & Myrt Davison and many nieces and nephews.
