Gregory John Hammer

Greg was born in Maple Creek, SK on December 27th, 1963. He was the third son of Oswald and Helen Hammer.

They lived on the farm south of Golden Prairie until 1968 when they moved into Golden Prairie.

In 1977, they moved back to the farm. Greg attended Golden Prairie School and upon graduating in 1982, he worked full time alongside his dad and brother Geoff on the farm and cattle operation.

In 1990, they bought Hector Schneider’s Ranch west of Maple Creek where he resided until his passing.

Greg is predeceased by his father Ozzie, mother Helen, brother Lorne and sister-in-law Marcy.

He is survived by his brothers Perry, Geoff (Melinda) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the STARS Air Ambulance.
