Harold Smith
May 14, 1951 – November 22, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harold Smith, of Richmound, Saskatchewan, and formerly of Camrose, Alberta, on November 22, 2024, at the age of 73.
Harold was born on May 14, 1951, in Edmonton, Alberta, to Arthur and Madeline Smith. He had a deep passion for traveling and exploring the world. In his younger years, Harold lived in Australia for several months, working in the desert and immersing himself in new experiences. His adventurous spirit took him to many places, and he loved sharing stories about his travels to India and Fiji, captivating listeners with his unique perspectives.
Harold had a lifelong love of the outdoors. In the summer months, he could often be found tending to his garden, creating beautiful spaces that reflected his creative spirit and deep knowledge of nature. He also enjoyed watching sports and politics, always staying informed and ready to share his insights.
Harold is lovingly remembered by his wife, Bina; his daughter, Sonya; his sister, Alison; and his brothers, Glenn and Emery. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Madeline Smith.
Harold’s wisdom and passion for life will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
