Heather Diane (Scott) Richardson

Heather Richardson aged 70, passed away on June 15, 2022 in Piapot, Saskatchewan.  She was born in in Gull Lake, Saskatchewan on September 10, 1951 to Merton and Jean Scott.  She grew up in the Skull Creek area.  She married Walter Richardson on July 25, 1970 in Swift Current.  Tammy was born in 1973 and Melodie in 1976.  Tammy married Real Comeau and they have two children Aidan (22) and Madeline (19) and reside in Edmonton, Alberta.  Melodie has 2 children Janae (19) and Owen (16) and she lives in St. Andrews, Manitoba.  Heather and Walter lived in Eastend until 1994.  Heather was a homemaker, helped Walter with his Earthmoving business and also was employed by the Eastend Co-op for many years.  Heather was talented in so many ways.  She was an excellent cook and many kids know her for her perfect puffed wheat cake and homemade ice cream.  She was amazing with flowers and years prior her yard out shone everyone else’s.  Heather was friendly to all people and kids were drawn to her.  She had wit and spunk and was fun to be around.  Heather and Walter moved to Medicine Hat in 1994.  In 1998 they moved to Maple Creek and then to Piapot in 2004.  Heather is predeceased by her husband Walter, parents Merton and Jean Scott, nephew Jason Gilbert, brother-in-law Fred Richardson and brother-in-law Don Mohagen.  She is survived by daughter Tammy Comeau (Real) Aidan and Madeline, daughter Melodie Richardson (Jason) Janae and Owen.  She is survived by 4 sisters (Glenna Mohagen, Rhonda Webber, Charlotte Gilbert, Charlene Gilbert) and two brothers (Milton Scott and Shane Scott) and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by some special friends Jake, Sam, Dakota and Madison.
