Helga "Jean" (Countryman) Purves

Helga Jean Purves was born a “Countryman” on April 23, 1929 on a farm in the R. M. of Piapot to a family of 13. She passed away peacefully at the age of 96.

Mom had a lot accomplishments in her life time, she always said it was her family!! We all agree her greatest gift was living until 96 and passing on wisdom, knowledge and tenacity to her kids.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband Wesley of 53 years, son Glen, daughter-in- law Marjorie, grandson Dusty, Kim Hannah and Scott Pridmore.

She outlived all her sisters, brother - in laws and 2 sister- in- laws.

Mom leaves to Mourn and celebrate her life by her children, Violet (Gordon), Leanne (Darrell) and Bob (Brenda).

Grandchildren Cory (Kate) Kimberley (Travis), Kelly, Jacqui (Troy), Lisa (Chris), Vanessa (Treston), Bryce, Chelsea (Austin).

Great grandchildren Sophie, Calvin, Brett (Andrea), Denton, Gina, Mattison, Cordell, Merrit, Foster, Macklin, Logan Lachlan, Lainey, William, Jakob, Mila, and Boston.

Two brothers Bruce and Wayne (Shirley) and sister- in- laws Stella and Joyce.
