John was predeceased by his parents Bill and Doris Bromley, his grandparents Walter and Kate Bromley, his sister Kathie and his brother-in-law Harvey Jackson.
John is survived by:
his sister Min Jackson and her children Wendy (John) and grandkids Brenden, Caitlyn, CJ (Charlie) and Janine (Cyril); Cal (Wanda) and grandkids Tyler (Allynna), Ashley (Sam), Felecia, Natasha (Lance) and Brandon; Rob (Mel) and grandkids Emily, Erica, Marissa and Drew.
his sister Lily Briggs (Shannon Udal) and her children Derrick (Michelle) and grandkids Jesse and Carley; Dion (RubyAnn) and grandkids
Victoria, Lori-Ann, Ian and Cody; Ann-Marie (Kevin) and grandkids Lane (Alley) and Makenna.
his niece Pam Cursons and her son Cash, along with Kathie’s husband Ron Strazza.
He also leaves to mourn his partner of 20 years Velma Messmer and her family:
Shane (Misty) and Grandson Carlin who is being raised along with Auntie Amber; Sherri (Wes) and grandkids Clayton and Colby, Casandra (Chris) and grandkids Emma and Kaden.
John was also a great-uncle to many great nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made in memory of John to The Salvation Army or the Canadian Cancer Society.
