Mother Eliza Belanger, Father: Alex Belanger - Sons, Bradley Buffalocalf, Jim buffalocalf, Charles Buffalocalf, Siblings: Joe Belanger, Carol Taypotat, Mervin Belanger, Larry Belanger, Robert AKA-Bobby Belanger as well as Rosalie Kinistino, Norman Belanger, Ernest Belanger, Reynold Belanger, Jack Belanger. Adopted children -Herman and Marie Buglar,_numerous adopted friends and adopted relatives). Leonard and lena put two families together she has step-children Phyliss Mosquito (Michael) . Yvonne Mosquito and step-grandchildren.
She is survived by Daughters Shirley BuffaloCalf and Audrey Schrader, Sons, Wes(lorina,) Joe (Dawn Thompson), Edward Daniel Raymond Daniel. Adopted sons, Glen Chamakese and Alvin Francis . Special grand daughter: Nikkita Daniel (Carson A) with a grandson she loved dearly Kendric. Numerous Great-Great Grand children, great grandchildren, grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Too many to name, We apologize if anyone is left out. Lena also had relatives from Kahkewistahaw and Ochapowace FN.
Lena was a dedicated ceremonial kokum, she will leave a void that will be hard to replace. Lena will always humm the traditional music, she was a very strong woman with a strong truthful voice of traditional songs, we will truly miss her voice of songs. Her passion was Sewing traditional clothes, she also Sewn many teepee through out the years. Throughout her life she worked various careers including pipeliner ranch hand elder at OOHL, teepee maker, seamstress, beader, homemaker, ceremonial cook.
