Linda Ann Assels-Scott (Davis) passed away April 23, 2021 in Swift Current, SK. Linda was born March 3, 1952, in Climax, SK., to Richard and Olive Davis. She attended school at Divide, Frontier, and Consul, SK. She grew up with five brothers and enjoyed spending time at Aunt Betty and Uncle Johnny’s farm. Linda married Alex Assels on March 3, 1970 in Shaunavon, SK. They had two daughters, Lynette and Caralee. Alex passed away December 16, 1983. Linda moved her family to Lethbridge, AB in 1985, where she met Calvin Scott in 1986. She then moved with her family to Great Falls, MT and married Calvin on October 17, 1987 in Fort Benton, MT. Calvin passed away on August 30, 2009 and Caralee brought Linda back to Canada to be with family in Maple Creek. Linda enjoyed sewing quilts for her family and friends. She loved reading and attending all of the activities her grandchildren were involved in. She was a long time member of International Association of Rebekah Assemblies in Maple Creek. Linda is survived by her daughters, Lynette Assels and Caralee Hansen (Chris); 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; brothers Benny Davis (Donna), Even Davis, Roger Davis (Robin) and many nieces and nephews. Linda was predeceased by husbands, Alex and Calvin; her parents, Richard and Olive Davis, and brothers, Freddy Davis and Gordon Davis
