Peter James Hintz

Peter Hintz of Leader, Saskatchewan, died peacefully at the age of 73 with his family by his side on Sunday October 13th, 2024. 
Peter is survived by his two daughters, Trayce Wenzel (Kelly) & Cari Wilkinson, his grandchildren Trey Hintz (Nikki), Dellan Wilkinson (Cheyenne), Payton Wilkinson, Kerstyn Wenzel and great granddaughter Wrenlee Wilkinson. He is also survived by his sisters Shirley Engler, Doreen Miskiw(Bill) and brother Frank Hintz(Sharon) along with many neices and nephews. Peter was predeceased by his parents Jack & Clara Hintz, brother Joseph Hintz and his son Trevor Hintz. 
Peter was born in Prelate, Saskatchewan on August 1, 1951. He lived on the homestead and farmed with his dad until meeting his sweetheart Debbie(Henchel) in 1969. They married on April 25th, 1970 and immediately started their family. Peter had a very adventurous life and many different careers throughout his younger years but eventually ended back to farming with his dad until he retired in 1994. After retirement his life took on a whole new role as full-time "nanny" until his last grandchild was old enough to care for themselves. 
Peter loved and cherished his children but becoming a grandpa changed his world. He loved spending his days with them and had his own unique relationship with each and everyone. 
Peter will be dearly missed and we invite you to come and celebrate his life with us. 

The prayer service will be held Friday October 18th at 7 PM at Little Flower
Parish in Leader, Saskatchewan and the funeral service will be on Saturday October 19th at 1 PM in Leader, Saskatchewan.
