Raylene Mae (Jassman) Elsasser

Raylene Mae Elsasser passed away peacefully at home on August 4th, 2022 with her family at her side. She fought a courageous battle but succumbed to cancer at the age of 56.
Raylene was born on March 6, 1966 to Reinhold and Viola Jassman in Leader, Saskatchewan.

After graduation, she went on to receive her diploma in registered nursing from Kelsey in Saskatoon. She then went on to serve for thirty five years at the Leader Hospital as an excellent nurse, caretaker, and mentor to many.

On April 18th, 1987, Raylene married her highschool sweetheart and love of her life, Daryl. They made their home on the Elsasser farm outside of Estuary. Together they had two children Lynnea in 1992, and Jarryd in 1994.

Raylene loved spending time with her grandchildren and being in her yard. She had a great eye for detail and strove for perfection in all that she did. Raylene was known for her bright smile, warm-hearted personality, and having a beautiful soul.

Raylene is predeceased by her father Reinhold, her father-in-law Alfred, and her nephew Trent.

She is survived by her husband Daryl, her mother Viola, her mother-in-law Sandra, her children Lynnea (Jun), Jarryd (Samantha), and her three beautiful grandchildren Westyn, Oakley and Scottie. Raylene is also survived by her siblings Pearl (Harold), Norm (Lani), Brad (Trish), her in-laws Shelley (Barry) and Leanne (Kim). She also has various nieces and nephews.

She will be dearly missed by family, friends and the community she served.
