Sally was known to be a great cook and loved baking. Always inviting people to “sit and stay for lunch.” Often she would spend the day baking kuchen, apple strudel or pies. This was a delicious delight to all her family and friends. She would always be sought out and complimented when she made her famous potato salad for numerous community celebrations and weddings. She only knew how to make borscht by the canner full. When you left her table, you were full and couldn’t eat another bite. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was always happy to see her grandchildren, who in return loved her dearly. Throughout her life, Sally faced many health challenges. She had cancer 3 times and a heart attack, but with her faith and support from her family she made it through every time.
The Wagner Family would like to thank the staff, nurses & all the care aids for their special kindness and care that our Mother, Sally received while in your care. We know that you will remember her smile in your hearts.
