Thelma "Bernice" (Anderson) Foss

FOSS - Thelma Bernice of Maple Creek, Sk, Wife of Marvil passed away on August 15, 2020 at the age of 91 years.

Bernice was born in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan on December 30, 1928 to Andrew and Hilda Anderson. She took her schooling at Rhodes, Shaunavon, Frontier and Outlook College. She worked at the Naval Base in Victoria, British Columbia for a year.

Bernice married Marvil Foss on January 1, 1950 in Frontier. Marvil and Bernice farmed on his parent's homestead, where they built up the farm and made a beautiful life for their family. She always had a huge garden, in the early years milked cows, ran the tractor, and grain truck, mom loved being outside helping. Bernice's first love was her family. Marvil and Bernice retired to Lethbridge in 1999, and then they moved to Medicine Hat in 2016, then Cypress lodge in Maple Creek in 2017, where she enjoyed music, baking and bingo.

Besides her husband Marvil, she is survived by her loving daughter Margaret (Allan) Bloye, Airdrie, AB, daughter Twyla (Robert) Ibach, Medicine Hat, AB, son Daryl (Marilyn) Foss, Frontier, daughter

Corinne (Peter) Comben, Saskatoon, Sask and son Allan Foss, Frontier, Sask. Grandchildren Candice

(Ben) Fooks, Kevin (Shannon) Bloye, Trent Bloye, Travis (Jenna) Ibach, Carlene Keetley, Elisha (Waylon)

Wagner, Tanner (Courtney) Ibach, Kellen (Becky) Foss, Braylee (Ryan) Barrett, Samantha Comben, Jamie Comben, Hayden Foss, and Stantyn Foss and 20 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bernice is predeceased by her parents Andrew and Hilda Anderson.
