It is with deep sadness the family of Victor Walter Favel (Pèyàhtihk Kàpamotahk ~ Thunder Low Rumbling) announce his passing on Friday, November 8, 2024, at the age of 59, in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
Victor was born in Arcola, Saskatchewan on August 31, 1965 to his parents Walter and Jean. He worked as a laborer for many years. He was a very hard worker and did his very best at everything he tried. When he wasn’t working, Victor enjoyed painting and drawing, and he gave his art to the people he loved. He was a soft-spoken man and was known for his kind heart. He was also a jokester and loved to laugh and tease his friends and family especially his best friend Blaine Ross. Victor was known as uncle Victor, to his nieces and nephews, but the person he cared for most was his daughter Teonna who he called “my girl.”
Victor is Survived by his daughter Teonna, mom Jean Nahbexie – Lloyd, sisters; Lorna and Gloria, his brother Royal, as well as many Nekaneet family members.
We will truly miss you dear father, son, brother, uncle and friend.
The sweetgrass and drum ceremony will be held at Binkleys Community Chapel on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 12:00 Noon with wake and funeral to follow. Intermetn to take place at the Nekeneet Cemtery.
